Frequently Filed Questions
- How is the simp risk score calculated?
- The Simp Risk Assessment (Instrument IAD-SRA-10) consists of 10 questions covering non-response handling, interpretive processing, message-composition behavior, digital monitoring, reciprocity assessment, and self-characterization. Each answer carries a score of 0 to 3, and the total is mapped to one of five severity tiers: Dignity Intact (0–6), Mild Simp Exposure (7–12), Active Simp Pattern (13–18), Critical Delusion Event (19–24), and Paragraph Imminent (25–30). Complete the instrument to receive your tier and a field-report-style result.
- What happens if I score in the critical tier?
- Scoring in the Critical Delusion Event tier (19–24) indicates that clinical-level rationalization has been detected: for example, maintaining a Notes-app timeline of a non-relationship and calling it patience. The Institute's standard response is immediate enrollment in the 7-Day Dignity Restoration Program and consultation of the Emergency Intervention checklist before any further messages are sent. Do not send the paragraph first; proceed to the Emergency page for the pre-transmission protocol.
- Is the assessment anonymous?
- Yes. The Simp Risk Assessment is fully anonymous. All responses are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to any server, institutional or otherwise. No account is required, no email is requested, and no data is collected or stored. A representative concern: subjects worry the result will be filed against them. It will not. The Institute receives nothing. Complete the instrument without supplying any identifying information.
- How long does the assessment take?
- The assessment consists of 10 questions and takes approximately two minutes to complete. Results are immediate, scored automatically on submission, and presented as one of five severity tiers with a field-report summary. There is no waiting period and no follow-up contact. In the common case, the longest part is the subject rereading a question to find a more flattering answer. Begin the assessment when you are prepared to be scored rather than reassured.
