Delulu adj.
Short for delusional. The operating system most simp conduct runs on. A self-reinforcing interpretive framework in which neutral evidence is processed as encouragement.
The condition is not a failure of intelligence. It is a failure of sampling: the subject logs every favorable data point and discards every unfavorable one, then reports the average as promising.
The delulu is not self-aware. That is the entire feature.
Representative usage
"She viewed my story, so we're basically dating" is the delulu talking.
